Course Reflective Narrative
This kind of literature is eligible MLO 2 and 3 because it requires advanced knowledge of Spanish to understand the material. In this class I learned the importance of literature in Latin America and the Caribbean. Learn about our origin through the three civilizations that inhabited the Americas is very important to read the stories of its origin. Each civilization either the Mayan, Aztec and Inca relate their own mythology sidewalk creation of man and each have large similarities that lead to the belief that there were different gods. In this class we read different works from which the poems that caught my attention were the poet Gertrudis de Avellaneda. One of his known poems, Al Partir, is dedicated to his country of origin. She gives him this poem to Cuba for political reasons when she is forced to leave for Spain. As mid-semester assignment the teacher made us analyze different terms, verses and essays to remember and learn the importance of literature. I learned to analyze literature in detail by creating connections between the history of the time and the message of writers through their poems. Professor Urioste always introduces us to the biography of each author and this helps us understand much of his work. In my particular I love to read and analyze poems and stories that fascinates me to read the result of imagination and reality. In the future as a teacher I love my students had the opportunity to feed their knowledge with all these great works that I've read.
